When required Alliance Glass will provide accurate windload calculations, most typically for high rise curtain wall or large windows. Windload calculations are used to specify mullions and transoms which are suitable for the application. This usually means the longer the unsupported span : the bigger the section required. We currently calculate our windload by using the Genesis V6 estimator as supplied by Comar Architectural Aluminium Systems.
